CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS

The gage began operation on June 11, 2019.
INSTRUMENTATION -

A 30-watt solar panel with voltage regulator, a Campbell Scientific Inc. CR-310/CELL-210 datalogger/modem combo, and an OTT Pluvio 2L weighing bucket precipitation gage.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

Precipitation:

The maximum daily precipitation total was 3.98 inches on May 17, 2020.  The annual water year total precipitation was 47.75 inches.

Air Temperature:

The maximum recorded temperature was 41.2 degrees C on June 11, 2021at 12:25 CST. The minimum recorded temperature was -19.5 degrees C on February 7, 2021 at 07:15 CST.

This gage is operated as part of Lake Michigan Diversion Accounting and is funded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
