LOCATION - Lat 42°40'16.9", long 74°30'15.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Schoharie County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020005, at SUNY Cobleskill.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 148 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 58 ft, bottom of last opening 148 ft. Well filled in from original depth of 154 ft, cased to 39 ft, open hole. Elevation of land-surface datum is 942.51 ft above NAVD of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2004 to October 2016 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--hourly.
REMARKS - Due to a new supply well being drilled about 150 yards away, the water level dropped about 5 ft on September 29, 2015. When the new supply well began pumping on November 5, 2015, the water level dropped an additional 10 ft before leveling off by November 15, 2015. Extremes are reported for the periods of record before and after this resulting water-level shift. Water level affected by nearby pumping. Satellite water-level telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level prior to shift, 18.66 ft below land-surface datum, July 16, 2006; lowest water level prior to shift, 31.55 ft below land-surface datum, Aug. 27, 2004. Highest water level since shift, 29.90 ft below land-surface datum, Nov. 4, 2015; lowest water level since shift, 45.19 ft below land-surface datum, Oct. 1, 2016.
