50093045 LAGO PATILLAS AT DAMSITE NEAR PATILLAS, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°01'11", long 66°01'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Patillas Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, on left side of concrete spillway in a galvanized shelter, 0.84 mi (1.34 km) northwest from Patillas plaza, 0.57 mi (0.92 km) northwest from Segunda Unidad de Real School, and 2.56 mi (4.10 km) east from Segunda Unidad de Jesús María Rodríguez School.
DRAINAGE AREA - 25.6 mi². (66.3 km2).
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Maximum elevation was revised on April 13, 2018, due to an error found in the manuscript that same year.

Datum of gage was previously reported as 229.67 ft (70.0 m) above NGVD29 and LMSL-Old PR. NGVD29 datum does not exist in Puerto Rico and the correct LMSL-Old PR elevation is 0 ft, published historical records did not reflect this site file typo. Revised to PRVD02 Datum of -0.44 ft. (-0.1 m) in October 2022. 

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1995 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite and radio telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 0.44 (0.1 m) below Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02) and 0.44 ft. (0.1 m) below Local Mean Sea Level (LMSL- Old PR).
REMARKS - Lago Patillas was completed in 1914. The dam is a semi-hydraulic earthfill structure about 147 ft (45 m) height, a top width of 15 ft (4.6 m), maximum pool elevation of 230 ft (70.1 m), a base width of 625 ft (190 m), a crest length of 1,067 ft (325 m) and has maximum pool storage of 17,073 acre-ft (21.05 hm3). The Lago Patillas Dam primary purpose is for irrigation of lands served by the Patillas Irrigation canal.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum elevation, 225.49 ft (68.73 m) September 21, 1998; minimum elevation, 203.43 ft (62.0 m), August 28 2015.
