> Site Information
LOCATION.--Lat 44°26'16.4", long 75°12'47.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, St. Lawrence County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 04150304, at bridge on County Highway 15, 2.7 mi southeast of Hermon, and 6.8 mi upstream from confluence with Tanner Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA.--32.6 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Continuous record--1959-68, annual maximum only--1969 to current year.
GAGE.--Crest-stage partial-record station. Datum of gage is 539.41 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 538.85 ft above NAVD of 1988.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, about 1,270 ft³/s, Apr. 6, 1974, gage height, about 9.07 ft; maximum gage height, 9.28 ft, Jan. 24, 1999 (ice jam).
