STATION. --414642077235101 TIOGA COUNTY, local well number TI 225.
LOCATION.--Lat 41`46'42.6", long 77`23'52.4", Hydrologic Unit 02050205, at at U.S. Geological Survey Northern Appalachian Research Laboratory near Asaph.
OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey.
AQUIFER.--Glacial Outwash, Pleistocene Age.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.-- Observation well, drilled to 45 feet in 1984, diameter 2 in, PVC casing to 40 feet, perforated PVC pipe from 40 to 45 feet. Well depth has decreased to 42 feet as of July 16, 2012, because of sand entry through slotted pipe.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Pressure transducer with 15-minute recording interval.
DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,173.97 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from survey. Measuring point: Top of casing, 3.05 feet above land-surface datum.
REMARKS.-- Daily maximum, minimum, and mean water levels since October 2012.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2012 to August 2017.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the PAWSC Williamsport Field Office.
