01472104 SCHUYLKILL RIVER AT VINCENT DAM AT LINFIELD, PA
LOCATION - Lat 40°12'22", long 75°33'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Montgomery County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, on left bank 100 ft upstream from Vincent Dam, and 0.3 mi south of Linfield.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,189 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1986 to 2017.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: January 1986 to September 1990. WATER TEMPERATURE: September 1989 to October 2017. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: January 1986 to September 1990; March 1997 to October 2017.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor January 1986 to September 1990, March 1997 to October 6 2017. In situ water temperature probe October 1990 to September 2008; July 2010 to October 6, 2017. Probes interfaced with a data collection platform.
REMARKS - Data collection suspended November through March. Other interruptions in the record were due to sedimentation and instrument malfunctions. Records for water year 2014 water temperature are good; Records for water year 2014 dissolved oxygen are good except for period May 1 - 6, which is poor. Records for water year 2015 water temperature are good; Records for water year 2015 dissolved oxygen are good except for periods Apr 20-23 and June 1-5, which is poor. Records for water year 2016 water temperature are good; Records for water year 2016 dissolved oxygen are good except for period April 22-27, which is poor.  Records of Water Temperature for WY2017 are considered good.  Records of Dissolved Oxygen are considered good, with the exception of Apr14-24, which are considered poor, and Jun24-Sept30, which are considered fair.  
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 752 microsiemens, Sep 15, 1989; minimum, 118 microsiemens, Sep 15, 1987. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 34.0°C, Jul 22, 2011; minimum, 0.0°C, many days during winters. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Maximum, 19.6 mg/L, Mar 24, 1988; minimum, 0.8 mg/L, Jul 26, 1986.
