LOCATION - Lat 48°05'58", long 122°17'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.10, T.30 N., R.4 E., Snohomish County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110019, Tulalip Indian Reservation, on right bank 75 ft shoreward of stream, 1.9 mi north of Tulalip and 2.3 mi upstream from mouth. Prior to Feb. 15, 2006, at site 1,500 ft downstream.
DRAINAGE AREA - 9.44 mi². Prior to Feb. 15, 2006, 9.74 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-WA-2008: 2001-05 (maximum gage heights).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2000 to September 2014, published as Tulalip Creek above East Branch near Tulalip, WA. Published as West Fork Tulalip Creek near Tulalip, WA. beginning October 1, 2014 to current.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 120 ft above NGVD OF 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Feb. 15, 2006 at site 1,500 ft downstream at datum 97.2 ft above NGVD of 1929, from precision Global Positioning System (GPS).
REMARKS - There is some natural regulation from lakes in basin and significant alterations of flow due to beaver activity. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 80.4 ft³/s, Dec. 20, 2012, gage height, 1.72 ft; maximum gage height, 2.50 ft, May 30, 2017, backwater affected; gage height, 23.91 ft, Dec. 16, 2001, site and datum then in use; minimum daily discharge, 0.61 ft³/s, Oct. 25, 2004.
