Station Manuscript Flood Tracking - Stage Flood Tracking - Discharge Gage-height Corrections Base Rating Shifted Rating
(About shift-adjusted ratings).
March 26, 2013: Station operated by the USGS Wyoming-Montana Water Science Center in cooperation with the Teton Conservation District and the USGS National Streamflow Information Program.
April 4, 2013: With the removal of the Newbold Dam, the previous stage-discharge rating cannot be used to accurately compute continuous discharge. USGS personnel will be developing a new stage-discharge rating in the near future.
February 27, 2015: The Newbold Dam diversion structure downstream of the streamgage was removed in 2013. Since then, scour and other changes to the channel have occurred. On November 4, 2014, station levels were completed and the gage datum was lowered 4.00 feet. This adjustment was needed to avoid the use of negative gage-heights. Questions or concerns can be directed to Kirk Miller (kmiller@usgs.gov; 307-775-9168) or Wayne Berkas (wrberkas@usgs.gov; 406-457-5903).
