LOCATION--Lat 42o01'22", long 71o34'22", Worcester County, Hydrologic Unit 01090003, on left bank about 0.7 miles downstream of Central Street bridge, and 0.6 miles southeast of Millville, MA.
DRAINAGE AREA--263 mi2.

WATER-DISCHARGE RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD--April 2007 to September 2009, September 2012 to September 2014.
GAGE--Water-stage recorder with telephone telemeter. Elevation of gage, about 200 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS--Flow regulated by upstream dams and ponds and occasional backwater from downstream dam.

WATER QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD--Water temperature, specific conductance, pH, and dissolved oxygen, July 1969 to December 1981; Water temperature, specific conductance, and turbidity, September 2012 to current year.

METEOROLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD--Air temperature and precipitation, September 2012 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION--Water temperature, specific conductance, and turbidity monitor, air temperature monitor, and heated tipping-bucket precipitation gage.
