LOCATION.--Lat 42°47'08.5", long 73°42'37.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Albany County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020004, on right bank 250ft upstream from the School Street powerplant intake in Cohoes, and 0.9 miles downstream of the beginning of the diversion.
DRAINAGE AREA.--1.67 mi².

INSTRUMENTATION1.--A continuous water-quality monitor with water temperature, specific conductance, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, chlorophyll fluorescence, phycocyanin fluorescence, and dissolved organic carbon fluorescence provides 15-minute-interval readings.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD1.--WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 28.8°C, Aug. 8, 2022; minimum -0.1°C, on many days during winter periods.
SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 601 uS/cm @ 25°C, Mar. 3. 2021; minimum, 180 uS/cm @ 25°C, Dec. 20, 2023.
pH: Maximum, 9.3, May 29, 2023; minimum, 7.2, Aug. 21, 22, 2022.
DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Maximum, 10.4 mg/L, Oct. 25, 27, 28, 2022; minimum, 2.3 mg/L Aug. 21, 2022. 
TURBIDITY: Maximum, 656 FNU, Apr. 9, 2022, minimum, <0.3 FNU, on many days. [<, actual value is known to be less than the value shown]
