> Site Information
LOCATION.--Lat 42°06'17.2", long 74°18'34.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Ulster County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020006, on left bank downstream from bridge on Park Road, in Chichester.
DRAINAGE AREA.--3.83 mi².  
PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 2016 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--The discharge measurement made on Sept. 14, 2023, was found to be in error and was removed from publication on Mar. 15, 2024.  Discharge for the period Aug. 7, 2023, to Oct. 7, 2023, was revised on Oct. 17, 2024, based on changes to the shift-adjusted stage-discharge rating.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,020 ft above NAVD of 1988, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Water Years 2018-23: Records fair except those for estimated discharge, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 916 ft³/s, Dec. 25, 2020, gage height, 7.09 ft, from rating curve extended above 42 ft³/s, on basis of contracted opening measurement of peak flow; minimum discharge 0.03 ft³/s, Oct. 22, 2017; minimum gage height, 2.49 ft, Aug. 17, 19, 26, 2022.
PERIOD OF RECORD1.--November 2016 to current year.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD1.--TURBIDITY: DTS12 - November 2016 to current year. Analite - June 2022 to current year.
SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT CONCENTRATION: November 2016 to current year. 
SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT DISCHARGE: December 2016 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION1.--An optical turbidity sensor provides readings at 15-minute intervals since November 2016.
REMARKS1.--Daily suspended-sediment load and concentration are derived from a regression equation relating turbidity to suspended-sediment concentration.
COOPERATION1.--In cooperation with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD1.--TURBIDITY: DTS12 - Maximum, 1,600 FNU, June 19, 2017; minimum, <0.2 FNU, Sept. 19, 21, 26, 2021. Analite - Maximum, 1,040 FNU, Aug. 7, 2023; minimum, <0.2FNU, on several days. [<, actual value is known to be less than the value shown]
SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT CONCENTRATION: Maximum daily mean, about 1,360 mg/L, Dec. 25, 2020; minimum daily mean, <1 mg/L, on many days. [<, actual value is known to be less than the value shown]
SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT DISCHARGE: Maximum daily, 46.4 tons, Aug. 17, 2018; minimum daily, <0.01 tons, on many days. [<, actual value is known to be less than the value shown]
