Station gage imageSTATION.--01472620 EAST BRANCH PERKIOMEN CREEK NEAR DUBLIN, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`24'14", long 75`14'05", Bucks County, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, on right bank 40 ft downstream from bridge on Bucks Road, 4.5 mi northeast of Perkasie, and 5.0 mi southeast of Quakertown.
DRAINAGE AREA.--4.05 square miles, not including distributary.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1983 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Datum of gage is 337.21 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to September 1, 2023, the datum of gage was 338.14 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Delaware River Basin Commission.
REMARKS.--Diversion since August 1989 from Delaware River at Point Pleasant to Bradshaw Reservoir (Geddes Creek Basin). Pumpage from reservoir enters the stream about 0.5 mi upstream of gage.
GAGE HEIGHTS OF IMPORTANCE.-
Supplied by USGS: Maximum recordable gage height (stage sensor operational limit) - 10.9 ft; Data transmitter operational limit - 11.9 ft;
Supplied by NWS: No flood stage has been determined for this station.
This station managed by the PAWSC Downingtown Field Office.
