NOTICE (12/31/2019) -- Data
collection at this streamgage has been discontinued due to lack of
funding.
Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be
collected unless one or more new funding partners are found.

LOCATION.--Lat
39°17'02.8", long 76°36'13.1", Baltimore City, MD,
Hydrologic Unit 02060003, on left bank, 370 ft downstream of Eastern
Avenue,
and 30 ft downstream of walking bridge from Fleet St to Pier 6 at
Baltimore Inner Harbor. DRAINAGE AREA.--57.5 mi2. REVISIONS
HISTORY.--https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/dv/?site_no=01589485:
2017-2019. PERIOD OF RECORD.--February 2017 to January 2020
(discontinued). GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, velocity meter, and water-quality
monitor. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum
of 1988. REMARKS.--This is a tidal discharge station. Discharge is
computed from relations between stage vs. area and index velocity vs.
mean channel velocity.
U.S. Geological Survey water-data telemeter at station. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum gage height, 3.40 ft,
October 12, 2019; minimum gage height, -5.04 ft, March 3, 2018.
Maximum discharge, 7,660 ft3/s, July 27, 2018; minimum
discharge, -702 ft3/s, August 31, 2017.
