LOCATION.--Lat 39°43'06.6", long 78°46'15.5", Allegany County, MD., Hydrologic Unit 02070002,
   on left bank at the intersection of Forest Grove Road and Kings Grove Road in Ellerslie, Maryland.
DRAINAGE AREA.--185 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 2012 to July 2015 (Discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 709.77 ft above North American
   Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided  by the Maryland Department of
   Natural Resources, and the U.S. Geological Survey.

NOTICE--As of July 01, 2015, data collection at this streamgage has been discontinued due to funding reductions from partner agencies. Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be collected unless one or more new funding partners are found. Users who can contribute funding for the non-Federal share of costs for the operation of this gage should contact the USGS Maryland, Delaware, DC Water Science Center at (443-498-5500 or email).
