Provisional Climatological Data Statement for Rapid Deployment Gages

The climatological data are provisional and may be inaccurate due to limitations of the instrumentation during extreme weather conditions. Data users are cautioned to consider carefully the provisional nature of the information before using it for decisions that concern personal or public safety or the conduct of business that involves substantial monetary or operational consequences.

The climatological data are temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days. The temporary classification means that documented routine inspections and other quality assurance measures are not performed that would make the data acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive studies.
