Data is updated intermittently. Stage-only record available for the foreseeable future. Site previously located 2.5 miles downstream 'at Rushford'. New gage with provisional station name of 'Root River above Rushford' and station ID of 05384330 was established in 2007. After stage-discharge rating was established at this upstream location the station ID 05384350 - Root River at Rushford, was moved upstream and now called Root River abv Rushford.

This station managed by the Mounds View Field Office.
