LOCATION.--Lat 42°51'09", long 88°07'50", in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.33, T.5 N., R.20 E., Waukesha County, Hydrologic Unit 07120006, on right bank at dam outlet of Muskego Lake, 700 ft north of Muskego Dam Drive, 2 mi northeast of Wind Lake.

DRAINAGE AREA.--33.9 square miles.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1987 to September 1989, October 1995 to September 2006, June 2010 to February 2011 (Stage only), March 2011 to September 2011(Daily Discharge), October 2011 to present (Stage only). Prior to October 1996, published under station number 425109088075000. Prior to October 2000 published as "Muskego Lake Outlet near Wind Lake".

GAGE.--During October 2010 to February 2011 the water-stage recorder was measuring just headwater; March 2011 to present the water-stage recorder was measuring headwater, tailwater, and precip. Datum of gage is 760.00 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Dec. 18, 1987, nonrecording gage at same site and datum, October 1989 to September 1995, nonrecording gage at same datum. Dam crest is 11.52 feet.

The precipitation data for this station are temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days, which are also available for this station under station ID no. 425109088075001. Rainfall instrumentation may not be calibrated, and other quality assurance measures may not be performed that would make the data acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive studies.

Station operated in cooperation with the Wind Lake Management District and Racine Co. Drainage District.
