Station operated by the USGS Wyoming-Montana Water Science Center as part of the Federal Priority Streamgages network in cooperation with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and the USGS Cooperative Matching Funds program.

The elevation of zero gage height has been determined to be 1,882.87 feet above NAVD88. To obtain stream water-surface elevation values in NAVD88, add 1,882.87 feet to gage height values.
