LOCATION.--Lat 27°53'02.2", long 81°51'50.9" (North American Datum of 1983), in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 
        sec.12, T.30 S., R.24 E., Hydrologic Unit 03100101, 970 ft west of State Highway 555, 0.6 mi 
        south of State Highway 60, and 0.8 mi west of Bartow. 

AQUIFER.--Hawthorn formation of Miocene Age, Geologic Unit 122HTRN. 

WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled, observation, artesian well, diameter 6 in., depth 60 ft, cased 
        to 50 ft. 

INSTRUMENTATION.--Water-stage recorder--60-minute interval. 

DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 118.71 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring 
        point: Top of flange, 2.94 ft above land-surface datum. 

PERIOD OF RECORD.--February 1977 to September 1979; October 1979 to September 1997 ((miscellaneous water level measurements); 
        October 1997 to September 2010; October 2010 to current year (miscellaneous water level measurements). 
        Prior to October 1979, published as Bartow Upper Hawthorn Well at Bartow.
