LOCATION.--Lat 39°14'06.6", long 77°17'39.9", Montgomery County, MD,
    Hydrologic Unit 02070008, 50 ft south of Whelan Lane, and 1.4 mi northwest of 
    Clarksburg, MD. 
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 2014 to current year. Prior to October 16 2017, published as 
   TEN MILE CREEK PRECIP GAGE AT CLARKSBURG, MD.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Weighing cell precipitation gage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily precipitation, 7.38 in, July 21, 2018.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Montgomery
   County Department of Environmental Protection.
This station managed by the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center Frostburg office.
