LOCATION.--Lat
39°37'49", long 79°19'03" referenced to North
American Datum of 1927, Garrett County, MD Hydrologic Unit 05020006, at
Accident. WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Dug, stone-lined, domestic, water-table
well, depth 20 ft; diameter 36in. GAGE.--Water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey
personnel. Equipped with digital water-level recorder, -30- minute
recording interval, April 2016 to current year. U.S. Geological Survey
satellite data-collection platform at well. DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 2392.62 ft above North American
Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of shelter platform, 2.55
ft above land-surface datum, April 2016 to present. PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1949 to February 2004, November 2010
to current year. REMARKS.--Maryland Groundwater-Level Monitoring Network and
Climate Response Network observation well. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is
provided by the U.S. Geological Survey.
