LOCATION.--Lat 40°39'38.7", long 73°47'25.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Queens County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030202, at John F. Kennedy International Airport, east side of North Boundary Road, south of 150th Avenue, southernmost well.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 305 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 290 ft, bottom of last opening 300 ft.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 11.3 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of coupling, 0.35 ft below land-surface datum, 10.95 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 23, 1979 to Oct. 9, 2024; Top of coupling, 0.35 ft below land-surface datum, 9.74 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 9, 2024 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--January 1979 to May 2018, March 2024 to current year.
GAGE.--Periodic manual measurements by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Water level affected by tidal fluctuation and local dewatering.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level measured, 6.90 ft above NGVD of 1929, Mar. 17, 2010; lowest measured, 1.78 ft below NGVD of 1929, Sept. 26, 1983.
