STATION.--03043500 CONEMAUGH RIVER LAKE NEAR SALTSBURG, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`28'00", long 79`22'00", Indiana County, Hydrologic Unit 05010007, at face of dam on right bank at Conemaugh River Dam on Conemaugh River, 2.0 mi upstream from highway bridge at Tunnelton, and 7.5 mi upstream from Loyalhanna Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA.--1,351 square miles.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and heated tipping bucket precipitation gage. Datum of the gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at station.
REMARKS.--As of January 12, 2010 the elevations for the Conemaugh Reservoir are referenced to NAVD88. Data retrieved from the database prior to January 12, 2010 were referenced to NGVD29.
COOPERATION.--Funding for this station provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
